I'M BACK....with some new layouts.

It's been a while since I blogged, what can I say, life got in the way, as usual.  We had our family vacation last month to Gulf Shores, AL.  I haven't even finished editing those pictures, I took so many I'm sort of dreading it.  I've just been in a little lull lately, with work and all the kids activities I just don't have time for much else.

Scrap booking has always occupied a big part of my heart and it's another creative outlet for me, I just enjoy it and it makes me happy but I just don't get the time to do it as often as I want.  There is so much inspiration and ideas and trends right now I feel like I want to do it all but I can't of course I have all these notes on things I want to do and just not enough time to enjoy my hobby. I am in a wee bit of a break from photography I was just over loaded so I made the decision to no longer advertise and do strictly word of mouth.  It's fine for me I never intended photography to feel like a real job but it was starting too.  I do have several session I need to put on facebook or blog about but I just haven't got around to it.  My concern was editing the pictures, taking orders and getting them to the clients....everything else is well eh work...lol.   But I do plan to blog about some senior sessions that I've done here really soon.

Okay so I guess I can get to what my blog post is all about....some recent layouts.

First up, I saw some CHA sneaks for SC and loved them and being the impatient person that I am I cannot wait so I do what I usually do and create it myself using my cameo. I love the happy colors, no neon is not something that I normally would use but these colors look so happy together and it just all fit.

Next I used the same inspiration for the above from SC but used my Instagram font to create something even more fun.  I love how it turned out and I plan to make even more using my cameo, I made a whole list of words, phrases and ideas.  I just need to find the pictures to go along. lol

And last but not least another fun layout, I tend to create my own die cuts, I have a hard time buying things that I do not have a specific use for and often times embellishments will sit forever because I forget about them.  So I try to create as I go and the road signs, banners and all others except for the wood veneer car I created in photoshop and either did print and cut on my cameo or just printed and hand cut.

Love how you make your own die cuts! They do tend to sit around otherwise. Your layouts are great! That neon turned out well.
