He proposed....and it was exactly how I would have wanted it to be, it was so special. Here's how it went down....
We went to my aunt and uncles house for some Christmas Eve fun, left there and then went to his aunts house for a few more drinks and more good food. I was bugging him all night about going home and opening our gifts and he kept saying no it's not Christmas yet. So by the time we left his aunts house it was a little after 11pm so I said you know when we get home it will almost be Christmas day. So he finally agreed but said I had to wait for 12am to roll around.
Finally it came around and he said I had to stay in the room he had to get my gift ready. He finally called me out and said it's over by the Christmas tree. So I start looking and I'm like no it's not, only the kids gifts are here and then he pointed to an ornament hanging on the tree and there was this beautiful ring haning on the ornament. I started crying, he pulled the ornament off took the ring off and then got down on one knee, slipped the ring on my finger and asked me to marry him. I couldn't get any words out I just grabbed his neck hugged and kissed him and then said "Is this for real?" LOL! Why I said that I don't know, he pulled out the Zales bag and was like yeah I'm for real. And he said "So is that a yes" and I said "Oh crap I forgot to answer you, yes of course it's a yes"
I was not expecting this, I really was more excited for him to get his present. After all he just got me a new camrea not too long ago and I didn't think he would do this. All I wanted was to see him open his Blue Ray DVD play with the home theater system. Then to find out he got me this beautiful ring I am just floored and I feel so grateful to have a man that loves me the way he does, it's wonderful.
Oh and I know you want to see photos, after all this post is nothing with out pictures!
We took this picture at my Aunt's Christmas Eve party.

More Monograms...
I am having so much fun making these. My friend Nikki in Philly is getting married to a really great guy named Rahn. She asked me to be in her wedding and being the creative person that I am I had to start coming up with designs. Here colors are orange and pink, she was having a tough time coming up with a theme so I cam up with the idea of a Tranquil Tropical feel using goldfish. She loved it. So first step was to come up with a few monograms for her.

Monograms
I've been helping my FSIL (Future Sister In Law) plan her wedding, well I say plan there isn't much to do since she took all the fun out of it by having it on a cruise ship. (Ugh) The cruise line handles almost all the stuff. The only thing really necessary to make was the invitations, me being a big diyer (is that a word) was estactic to help but her not so enthused. LOL! I couldn't stay to help put them all togher but I did design them for her and I can toot my own horn and say the turned out fab!
I had to come up with some monograms for her and we ended up using two different ones, the first one we used as a cover for the flip style invitation and then the second one we used as a sticker/seal for the outside of the envelopes.

Favorites from Little League Football
Izaiah played for the Dolphins this year and I had a lot of fun being the "team photographer". Unfortunately they didn't have a very good season and didn't make it to the playoffs. During the regular season he played every Saturday at 9am and it was hard because Donovan played at the same time, so I missed almost all of Donovan's game. BUT Donovan's team had a great season, in fact they didn't loose a single game. So now I get to watch his team go the playoffs and takes some great shots of his team too. Those will come soon enough!

Our Kids.....
Things have been so crazy for me, I've been so busy, I've not had time to really blog or update much of anything. The Thanksgiving holiday has come and gone and it's already time to get ready for Christmas. Ugh.
I'll be working on my Christmas cards here soon but here are a few images the kids took on our "Christmas Card" photo shoot.
