Boudoir (boo-dwar) - a french term meaning a woman's bedroom, dressing room or private sitting room.
Ladies a Boudoir Session should give you a sense of empowerment and it does not require nudity. A lot of everyday, normal ordinary women have these sessions done just for themselves or as a gift for a loved one. Brides tend to give them to their groom on their wedding day and some woman choose to give them as an Anniversary gift, Valentine's Day gift or even on Christmas.

Brooke & James - Houston Wedding Photographer - Belle Rose Maison - Conroe, TX
This weekend I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of two best friends, two people that have known each other since 1996. They have a handsome little boy and they finally joined their family together in marriage. From what all the family and friends said they were meant to be. To see these two together you can really feel the love, they truely are a beautiful couple.
I felt so bad for the bride when I arrived at the venue, she was stressing because her hair and make up people had not shown up and didn't even call her back. Luckily for her she had a back up plan but as a warning to all potential brides out there don't use Lips-and-Lashes dot com.
The bride was specific when she described her wedding photos, she wanted fun, relaxed and she wanted everything processed in a vintage manor. Hopefully she's happy with this sneak peak.
I loved the emotion during the toasts at the reception, everyone that spoke had such beautiful things to say about this couple. During the reception they really showed how much fun they have together as best friends with........a dance off.
Congrats Brooke and James.....you two are great to work with, I hope you have an amazing life together!
This photo was the brides idea and actually towards the end of the reception, I think they really were feeling this way....totally pooped and ready to call it a night!
