Daddy's Kiss....in an animalistic sort of way....LOL!

This picture takes us back to about 3 months ago maybe 3.5 months.....It's Kaos and Big Boi, he was just a young lad then, small in comparison.

Well not now, he went to the vet on Monday and mind you he is 5 months old, he will not be offically 6 months until 10/7......he weighed 60lbs. Yes that is not a typo, he is really 60lbs.

I plan to get some photos of him this weekend and show him in comparison to Kaos, he's living up to his name Big Boi.

He finally agreed to take some photos!

For those of you who know Justin, know he does not like taking photos, I have begged and begged for him to please take some with me and he did.

I am not 100% happy with them all but I sure will take them! LOL!

New Parasol.....

I got my photography parasols the other day and I was dying to test one of them out. So...it so happened my daughter had on a cute colorful outfit today and I had her scoop of the crazy socks we bought a few weeks ago and I grabbed a matching green parasol and found a cute location.

After looking at the photos, I realized how grown up she's becoming.....my middle baby is not so little any more. She's in 6th grade and maturing at a rapid rate.

After Ike

The hurricane has passed and we have POWER!!!! We went a week without it, I know some who still don't have it as of today. Luckily my mom got her power back on the Monday after the storm so I sent the kids to her house. Justin and I stayed home but spent a lot of time at his mom and dad's because they had power and his mom cooked for us. (we did eat good atleast)

The sad thing is Justin's grandma and grandpa are without out a house, well actually it's there, they just cannot live in it. The roof leaked all over there house and on the inside the ceiling fell throughout. Here are a few pictures from the damage their home suffered, luckily they are fully insured.

On a personal note...

My kids started back to school last week, how quickly they grow. The summer seemed to fly by.

Alexis is now in 8th grade. Sonja is in 6th grade, her first year of middle school. And then there is Izaiah left alone in elementary in the 2nd grade.
